Voice-guided home hemodialysis checklist for the NxStage System One PureFlow

A tap-through and voice-guided checklist for home dialysis treatments. Built by a patient, tuned by running real treatments, designed to keep the hands on the cycler and the access site instead of the phone.

What it does

Hands-free navigation

Say "go to next" or "go to previous" to walk the checklist. Or just tap. Voice mode and manual mode coexist, switch at any time.

Live prescription math

Current weight, target weight, weight to lose, yellow value, volume value. All computed from the prescription numbers entered once in Settings.

Voice notes per step

Speak a note, attach it to the exact step. Review every note grouped by section after the session, or read them back aloud.

Built-in timers

Five-minute access-site holds, BP reminders, a session clock. Each one quiet until needed, audible when due.

Resume in place

Close the app, take a phone call, hit home. Come back and the same step is highlighted. Restart with a single tap when starting fresh.

Local only

Notes, history, prescription, weights, all on the device. Nothing uploaded, no account, no cloud sync.

Customize the controls

Replace any built-in voice trigger with a personal phrase ("boom" for next, "scribble" for add note), turn on a wake word ("RenaPal") for noisy rooms, swap themes, adjust font size. The checklist content does not change. The way the device is used can.

RenaPal is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by NxStage Medical or Fresenius Medical Care. The app is a personal treatment checklist, not medical advice or a medical record. Always follow the dialysis-center protocols and the cycler manufacturer's instructions.
